Society:  
-- According to a source from Vietnam Airlines (VNA), VNA’s former pilot Kim Tae Hun, who has been accused of making false statements about his work experience by South Korea media, holds three pilot licenses issued by the United States, South Korea, and Indonesia respectively.  



-- Northern Vietnam will experience the coldest temperature since this winter starting tomorrow (December 1) due to the effects of a cold snap, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reported. 
-- Three teen girls have been rescued from an illegal garment business in Binh Hung Hoa Ward of Binh Tan rural district in Ho Chi Minh City. Police found the couple Tran Dinh Dinh Sang and Vo Thi Hue violating labor rules such as running business without business certificate and hiring underage workers. 
-- The testing result released by the Drug Administration of Vietnam shows that Johnson’s Baby Shampoo produced by US-based Johnson&Johnson for children doesn’t contain two substances Quaternium-15 and 1,4-dioxane, which may cause cancer on users, as suspected earlier.
-- Nguyen Tang Trong, 33, biological younger brother of vigilante Nguyen Tang Tien, who has been honored repeatedly by the police for his efforts to fight crime in Binh Duong southern province, has been held forquestioning over accusations of robbing a man in Ho Chi Minh City.
-- The German government will provide assistance worth EUR1.4 million (US$1.86 million) to help restore the damages of floods which have been hitting the southern region since September this year, Hanoi-based German Embassy announced on Monday.
Business:  
-- Viet Fruit Expo 2011 on Tuesday kicked off in My Tho City of Tien Giang southern province, featuring 300 stalls of fruits and agricultural products. This year's fruit fair is aimed at promoting various Vietnamese fruit varieties in the domestic market and abroad. The fair will run until December 4.
Politics:  
-- A conference focusing on foreign news services and the dissemination of information on sea, island and border demarcation opened in Hanoi on Tuesday. 
-- After giving warm welcome to Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich at a ceremony in Hanoi on Tuesday, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung stated that Vietnam attaches importance to relations with Belarus in various domains, especially in trade, investment, education and training, and tourism.
